Shopify Self-Managed Integration now supports Pick-Up orders

We are now offering even more flexibility within our CartonCloud Self-Managed Shopify Integration! Customers allowing order pick-up directly from their warehouse can now access this workflow through your Shopify Self-Managed Integration.

This ensures that no matter whether you need to complete the delivery, or have the order picked up from your location, both workflows will link seamlessly into CartonCloud for warehouse pick and pack.

There is no additional setup required in the Self-Managed tool, so you don't need to change any integrations that already exist. This workflow will automatically work if 'Pick-Ups' are set to 'allow' on the Shopify Locations that are linked to your warehouse.

Head over to our Self-Service Shopify page in CartonCloud Help for more information.

Our API now allows orders to be flagged as Pick-Up

Customers who have built integrations using our rest API now have access to additional functionality within the ‘Create Outbound Orders endpoint’. Those using this feature can now set orders to Pick-Up from Warehouse if this is a required workflow for their customers and warehouse workflows.

To set this up, simply head over to our documentation at Outbound Order API, and follow the step-by-step instructions. Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Service Desk.

Revamped Product Import

We have overhauled the way Products are imported into CartonCloud, making the process more transparent and easier to handle. The new import process provides greater visibility on how your file was handled, giving you detailed information on each line uploaded in the file.

You now have greater transparency over which records have been successfully processed, and any which need further attention.

With this update, file import results are sorted into one of 4 categories;

  1. Created: A new product has been successfully created.
  2. Updated: An existing product has had changes made to it.
  3. Ignored: An existing product was found on the file, but all information matched and no changes were made.
  4. Errors: There was an error with the information on the file, please fix and re-upload.

The results from your import are now also available on the Import Log, allowing you to retrospectively go back and review any changes made through the import. For more information, please view the CartonCloud Help Product Import page.

Picking 2.0 & Reallocation Speed Improvements

We know faster is better! This month, we’ve significantly improved the speed of our popular Picking 2.0 and Reallocation modes on the mobile app — so you can increase your team’s output.

These enhancements have specifically impacted the following Picking 2.0 workflows; starting an order, picking individual items within an order, and completing an order picking— delivering results up to 10x faster when dealing with large orders.

Likewise, we’ve enhanced the speed of our Reallocation feature on mobile, ensuring large reallocations (ie: full pallet), can now be performed in a fraction of the time.

To ensure you’re getting the best mobile app performance, enable app auto-updates (instructions for iOS & Android).

Stay tuned — New Features coming Soon!

  • Photos on Purchase Orders
    • Via the mobile app, you’ll soon be able to take photos & add comments when Purchase Orders are being received and verified. This enables warehouse workers to provide photo evidence of received goods, highlighting issues such as damages, and selectively share these photos with customers.
  • Enterprise Single Sign On (SSO)
    • SSO capability is coming to CartonCloud, allowing organisations to consolidate their CartonCloud access into their existing SSO provider. On release we’ll be supporting OIDC.
  • Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)
    • MFA adds an extra layer of protection to your account by requiring a second verification step beyond your password. MFA significantly reduces the risk of unauthorised access and keeps your data even safer. Admins will be able to force MFA to be used across the tenancy, ensuring greater security across the whole account.
  • Login Screen Revamp
    • We have some powerful new authentication features coming very soon, such as Enterprise SSO and MFA (both listed above), as well as overall enhanced security. As part of this change we’ve revamped our login screens on both the web and mobile apps.
