🛍️ Self-Managed CartonCloud Shopify Integration

This quarter, we launched our Self-Managed CartonCloud x Shopify integration. We also added greater functionality, enabling pick-up from warehouse workflow logic. You and/or your customers can now build your own Shopify integrations into CartonCloud in just 5 easy steps

This integration streamlines the e-comm fulfilment process,

  • automatically syncing new orders from Shopify into CartonCloud as Sale orders
  • updating Shopify once an order has been fulfilled,
  • and providing Tracking and Carrier information to Shopify (*if you store this data in CartonCloud).

It’s the full fulfillment cycle and can be set-up and running in just a few minutes! For more details, view our comprehensive CartonCloud Help guide to set up your own Shopify to CartonCloud integration.

💁🏾‍♀️Self-Managed Integrations: Controlling Customer permissions for building Self-Managed Integrations

Our Self-Managed Integration feature has the ability to either be turned on or off for your customers. We have included a setting at the Organisation level, as well as at the customer level, meaning you have the ability to decide access levels for your customers to use the feature.

For all the information on this functionality, head over to our Knowledge Base to see how you can enable or disable your customers to access Self-Managed Integrations.

📦 Allow orders to be flagged as Pick-Up via API

Customers who have built integrations using our REST API now have access to additional functionality within the ‘Create Outbound Orders endpoint’. Those using this feature can now set orders to Pick-Up from Warehouse if this is a required workflow for their customers and warehouse workflows.

To set this up, simply head over to our documentation at Outbound Order API, and follow the step-by-step instructions. Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Service Desk.

🤳Capture Multiple Serials via QR Code

Following on from our End-to-End Serial Tracking release late last year, our new Multi Capture mode allows you to capture multiple Unique References (ie: Serial Numbers) via a single scan of a 2D Barcode/QR Code.

‍How does it work? Once the Multi Capture toggle is enabled in the Bulk unique Reference capture screen, scanning a 2D barcode will record all the references stored in the code in a single step. You can also scan several 2D barcodes to make up the required quantity for a group of items.

See QR code multi-capture scan in action! Join Vincent in the warehouse as he steps through how to use CartonCloud's powerful QR scan from the mobile app.

In the example pictured, the QR code highlighted contains all 36 of the serial numbers listed on the right. Scanning this saves a lot of time, as the user no longer needs to scan the individual serial numbers one-by-one. For more information, see our Multi Capture knowledge base article on CartonCloud Help

🔐 Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO)

As part of our updated security features released this month, we have introduced the ability to use Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) to log into your CartonCloud account.

SSO is the ability for users to log in with one set of credentials to get access to multiple corporate apps, data and websites which they have permission for, helping to strengthen security and compliance.

This feature is available as a paid add-on or included in some plans. For more information, or to begin using Enterprise SSO please reach out to us.For more information, see our CartonCloud help Knowledge Base Page for Enterprise Single Sign-On here

Picking 2.0 Mobile Improvements

This quarter we made significant improvements to Picking 2.0 (which will soon be renamed as Picking in the mobile app) including;

  • Multiple speed enhancements,
  • the ability to revert sales order status,
  • the ability to unpick an item,
  • and the ability to search packed/dispatched orders.

We also significantly improved the speed of Picking 2.0. Starting an order, picking individual items within an order, and completing an order now load up to 10x faster when dealing with large orders!

Likewise, we’ve enhanced the speed of our Reallocation feature on mobile, ensuring large reallocations (ie: full pallet), can now be performed in a fraction of the time.

We’ve also added three key enhancements to the Picking 2.0 mode:

  • Revert Sales Order Status: Users can now revert a Sales Order's status from "Packing in Progress" back to "Awaiting Pick and Pack" and (optionally) un-assign it from the picker. This allows greater flexibility in managing orders that need to be updated or corrected after packing has started.
  • Unpick an Item: You can now reset the picked quantity of an item within a Sales Order inside Picking 2.0. This enables warehouse workers to undo work if they accidentally marked an item as picked and then found it couldn’t be fulfilled for some reason.
  • Search Packed/Dispatched Orders: You can now search for packed or dispatched orders directly within Picking 2.0, allowing users to double-check order details and ensure accuracy. Users can also print labels and submit ad-hoc charges for those orders, enhancing operational efficiency and improving order visibility.

For more information on this, head to our CartonCloud Help page on Order Pick and Pack.

*To ensure you’re getting the best mobile app performance, enable app auto-updates (instructions for iOS & Android).

📲Mobile Wave Pick Speed Enhancements

We’ve updated our popular Wave Pick feature, to deliver faster results and more streamlined picking through Wave.

What’s changed? Reloading the Wave Pick is no longer performed between picks, meaning the picker can immediately move on to the next item for a faster wave pick.

To note: if multiple pickers are picking the same wave, they will no longer be able to see each other's changes automatically. If you operate with multiple pickers working on a single wave, ensure that pickers are periodically reloading the wave (simply swipe down on the screen to reload) so the picks are synchronized between devices.

📋 Revamped Product Import

In May, we overhauled the way Products are imported into CartonCloud, making the process more transparent and easier to handle. You can now view detailed information on each line uploaded in the file, providing greater transparency over which records have been successfully processed, and any which need further attention.

With this update, file import results are sorted into one of 4 categories;

  • Created: A new product has been successfully created.
  • Updated: An existing product has had changes made to it.
  • Ignored: An existing product was found on the file, but all information matched and no changes were made.
  • Errors: There was an error with the information on the file, please fix.

For more information, please view the CartonCloud Help Product Import page.

💻 Additional Filtering available on Bulk Export Charges Report

In June, we added additional filtering options to our Bulk Charges Export Report.

Users can now process this report based on additional criteria using the new Activity Date Filter, selecting from the following options:

  • Date Packed for SO’s
  • Date Delivered for Consignments
  • Date Allocated for PO’s
  • Delivery date for RunSheets
  • Added date for Manifests

🔼 Rate Cards: New Add Charge Button on Adhoc Charges
