Hey Guys, Tony here from CartonCloud with Tony's Tips.

Years ago I always used to hit roadblocks when we would have an address, but for a delivery and then you would send the driver there and the driver would say, look, there is no gate here, there is no this, there is no that.

These days what you can actually do is you know everybody would have heard about Geocoding. So Geocoding is just where it finds the longitude and latitude on where the actual, where the the premises is.

Now what we can actually do, we can actually move the marker on the map. So if we have something which is going to at this one here, I'm looking at 27 Dover Drive at CartonCloud. Now it may be that when we've actually geocoded or Google Geocodes it, we've realized that it's not actually where we want to go.

So for all intents and purposes, we might want to say that CartonCloud is at 27 Dover Drive. But then we actually want to send the driver somewhere else. It might be across the road or around the back or whatever it may be. 

Now here, you can see where we have the map. Now if we go to scroll and it will tell us how we can go in but we can actually go through here. We can scroll in really tightly and we can say actually CartonCloud, it's actually perfect where it is, but we could say no, we want it to be somewhere. So we can actually change, we can hit drop the marker and we can actually move the marker to a different spot and we can actually then go through, save the changes and it will update that address.

So therefore when when drivers go to do the delivery, they're actually going to the right place. Now, it might be that the address is, the street address is one thing, but you actually have to go around the back. So you can go around and you can actually change that marker and move it to exactly wherever it is you want it to go.

And just an easy way of trying to streamline where the drivers are going and stop the phone call at six o'clock in the morning when the driver doesn't know where he's going and he's there and it's a locked gate and there's no dock and we've all been there.
